Our Mission
At The Jay Anthony Foundation, we believe in creating pathways to healing, opportunity and empowerment. Through our community initiatives. we celebrate culture, encourage unity and provide tangible support to those who need it.
About Us
The Jay Anthony Foundation was created from a place of lived experience and genuine care for people.
Coming from an Afro-Caribbean background, I’ve seen how our community turns struggle into strength and how our culture continues to inspire the world. I wanted to use that same energy to give back — to uplift, support, and create real change for our own.
Raised by strong women and once a patient at Birmingham Children’s Hospital myself, these projects mean something personal. Each one reflects part of my story and a belief that when we come together with purpose, we can make a lasting difference.
“Turning experience into purpose, and culture into change.”

ACAF : Afro-Caribbean Arts Fundraiser
"A celebration of culture through style"
The Afro-Caribbean Arts Fundraiser is all about celebrating the richness of Afro-Caribbean culture through music, art, and performance.
It’s an event that brings people together to enjoy the energy and creativity of our community while raising money for a meaningful cause.
Proceeds from ACAF go towards supporting individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell
.
The goal is to raise awareness, improve understanding, and support those living with the condition through community-based help and outreach.
ACAF is proof that culture and compassion can work hand in hand — turning celebration into support, and entertainment into something that truly makes a difference..

Women's Support & Awareness Project
Empower. Educate. Elevate.
The Women’s Support & Awareness Project was created to uplift and support women from all walks of life.
It focuses on the issues that matter most, from health and well-being to safety, confidence, and opportunity.
Money raised goes towards programmes that directly help women, including crisis support, awareness campaigns, and projects that encourage personal growth and empowerment.
It’s also about starting conversations, raising awareness around the challenges women face and making sure they never feel alone in facing them.
This project is about strength, unity, and creating space for women to grow, heal, and thrive.

Birmingham Children’s Charity Project
The Birmingham Children’s Charity Project is dedicated to supporting Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the amazing work they do for young patients and their families.
All proceeds from this project are handed directly to the hospital, helping to improve facilities, fund creative therapy sessions, and support families through difficult times.
It’s about giving back to the children in our city helping to make their time in hospital a little brighter, their recovery a little easier, and their families a little more supported along the way.
This project represents what the Foundation is all about: kindness, community, and care for those who need it most.
